THEATRE WEEK February 13th thru 17th

To kick off the 2012 Theatre Season, Pierre’s Costumes, located at 211 N. 3rd Street, in Old city Philadelphia, will be hosting a Theatre Week from Monday February 13th through February 17th.  This Philadelphia institution has been Costuming theatrical productions throughout the Tri-State area since 1943!

Owner and President Richard J. Williamson says “We here at Pierre’s Costumes pride ourselves in offering the lowest price rental costumes to school’s and theatre’s through out the country. With the state of the arts in our schools today, we feel it is important to play our part in making the highest quality of performances possible”

Elizabeth McNamara, the head of the theatre rental department, says “We are already in full swing and things aren’t slowing down anytime soon!”

Bobby Goodrich, Pierre’s Head Designer says “We really love working with our local customers because we enjoy the fact that they can be as hands on with their production as they would like to be! It is very interesting to see the creative productions that are being done by high schools and theatre’s across the region!”


Pierre’s Costumes will be offering special discounts to our local customers ranging from free costumes to offering anywhere from 5% to 25% off our make-up and wigs to those local theatre’s and schools who visit us in person! We also are offering retired pieces from our rental stock from as low as $5.00! These pieces include historical costumes, vintage dresses and one of a kind garments that you wont find anywhere else.


In addition to our special discounts for our Theatre Customers, Pierre’s Costumes will be holding the annual winter clearance sale, where some of our styles are on sale up to 90% off! This is surely an event not to miss!
